Over two days, you’ll dive deep into the legacy of the samurai in the heart of Kagoshima. On the first day, you’ll explore samurai craftsmanship, martial disciplines, and traditional rituals. The second day offers time for personal reflection and cultural appreciation, with a relaxed morning and a scenic farewell.

Day 1

On Day 1, the journey begins at JR Sendai Station, where you will be picked up by jumbo taxi and taken to an authentic Japanese armor workshop. After a guided tour and exhibition, you’ll enjoy a peaceful lunch before stepping into the world of Iaido, the disciplined art of samurai swordsmanship.

Later in the afternoon, you will take part in a tea ceremony, a practice deeply rooted in samurai culture and inner harmony. The day ends with a refined Satsuma Samurai Dinner featuring local cuisine, followed by check-in at your accommodation and time to enjoy the onsen.

Day 2

After breakfast and checkout, you’ll visit a historic shrine revered by the Satsuma samurai. The journey continues with a relaxed lunch, then leads into an unforgettable hands-on experience: the premium Japanese armor dressing session, where you’ll be suited up like a true warrior.

By late afternoon, you’ll return to JR Sendai Station around 17:00—taking home a deeper understanding of samurai legacy and a few battle-ready photos.
