Day 1

The journey begins with a visit to the Togariishi Jomon Archaeological Museum, where you’ll encounter artifacts that reveal the lives, beliefs, and craftsmanship of the Jomon era. Afterward, you’ll explore the Akyu Ruins, a preserved site that offers a glimpse into an ancient settlement. Later, take part in a hands-on Jomon pottery-making experience using natural clay and traditional techniques. The day ends with a calm Jomon-inspired dinner and check-in at your accommodation.

Begin the day with a visit to Amida Sacred Water and a nearby shrine dedicated to Ishiyama. Both are peaceful locations surrounded by nature, deeply tied to the spirit of the land. The tour concludes with a return to Chino, bringing with it a deeper connection to the roots of Japanese culture.
